Channel your inner, angsty Kristen Stewart and show up looking “too cool for school” in Nicole Miller Artelier’s Fall 2013 collection. Nicole Miller’s Fall collection is a great combination of dark and somber separates that come together to create a rocker-meets-girl-next-door tomboy look. Overall, I love the skinny straight leg jeans and pants. The close fitting bottoms paired with loose, flowing tops help to create a slimmer silhouette and gives off an effortless vibe. Add some punky ankle boots and throw in your own expressionless gaze and bitch resting face and you’ve got the K-Stew look nailed.

Temperley London Spring 2014 RTW
I love Temperley London. The ethereal gowns and wispy chiffon blouses are beautiful. Nip slips aside, they’re gorgeous articles of clothing. Alice Temperley knows how to make amazing pieces that you want to wrap yourself up in. Her Spring 2014 ready to wear collection, shown at London’s Fashion Week didn’t disappoint. From the natural, berry lips to the floral and animal print mashups, it was all breathtakingly lovely. Don’t you just love the ladylike dress and jacket combos?

Hot Colors for Spring 2014
So, after sifting through all the images of New York Fashion Week (NYFW -which I spent 2 days misinterpreting as NSFW), I have seen some fairly pronounced trends:
Bight colors- specifically coral, fuchsia, purple
Lace
Metallic Nudes
Floral motifs
Nowhere is this proliferation of trends more evident than in Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2014 RTW collection. Here are my favorites from her delicately, dazzling, divine collection:

Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2014 RTW
Stunning. All Bond girl, all sex, all the time. And that purple jumpsuit? I swear, I will find a way to find it, fit in it, and wear it. So very well done ladies! Let’s bring in for the slow clap.
Actually, please don’t do that. Just like Terrance Howard, slow claps infuriate me.

Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2014 RTW
After looking at all of these collections, it all starts to run together sometimes. That’s why I love Rebecca Minkoff. Her collection has a sporty, fresh, vibrant feel to it. It makes me yearn for the Spring when Fall hasn’t even started yet. And I love the Fall. I also loved that the models all carried purses and strutted down the runway like they were about to keep right on walking out onto the sidewalk. Well played Rebecca.
